Waxing moon

The waxing moon is the phase between the new moon and the full moon, in which the illuminated part of the moon increases from night to night. Astrologically, this phase is considered a time of development, growth and active development.

What is the waxing moon?

The waxing moon describes the half of the lunar cycle during which the visible portion of the moon grows from the narrow crescent after the new moon to a full disk. This phase lasts about 14–15 days and ends with the full moon.

Astrologically, the entire waxing phase represents expansion, building, and manifestation. Energy and motivation are considered outwardly directed. Those who wish to initiate new projects, deepen relationships, or establish habits will find a supportive rhythm in this phase.
